CV Nokton 35/f1.4

I love this lens!!! I bought used lens in second hand market for $400, and still have 6 month warranty left. B&H list new lens for $559.
What I like most about this lens is the beautiful, classic bokeh. This lens is commonly used with Leica rangefinder cams, so now I can say my pictures have Leica-ish nuance in it. :)

I'm still struggling to use full manual mechanical lens to get a sharp focus wide open. I'm not adept at zone focusing, but perhaps the use of lens adapter affected the focus range distance. So you're not always getting focus at the stated distance.

The images produced with this lens often has creamy pastel-like colors and consistently have more grains than  the 20mm Panasonic lens. But the amazing thing is you can post process the images and adjust the exposure +2EV without much degradation.

Anyway.. now I have 20 Gigabytes of raw file images in my hard drive, need to buy extra storage soon!

Just wondering how much power rating companies like Moodys or S&P have over the economy, or a country. I wonder what will happen to Spain or Portugal. I bet there are some people who are very mad with them right now XD

I spend.. and lost quite a lot of money last week. I got scammed $600 for a bloody speaker set!! (which is no good anyway) Then there was a series of movie watching, and eating which cost me more $$$.

Anyway, I attended a small group meeting on Friday after work. It's a small group of 8 or 9 people, and we had a wonderful dinner and fellowship. I got home at 12 something, dead tired! And I still have to do some paperwork to sue the SOB that cheated me for the speaker system.

Next morning, I got up early and head to the Court... to found out that it was closed, due to Labour day. LoL
I mean.. how unlucky could you be in a week. ^^! Nevermind.. I thought. So I just waited in a coffee shop reading John Gribbins book "In Search of the Multiverse" while waiting for my friends to come and watch Iron Man 2. The book is fascinating, to say the least.

I really enjoyed the company and fellowship of my friends. They can make me overcome this $$$$ related problem.

Kubuntu

The Lucid Lynx is surprisingly good! It works out of the box. My wireless USB now works without compiling additional module. Yay! Haven't play around with it much though..

Will I ever go professional? Probably, but the idea of people telling me what to do bothers me a little. Anyway, I've been into other things lately, such as architecture design.
Essential Bathrooms: The Back to Basics Guides to Home Design, Decoration, and FurnishingTwo books I bought recently are Terence Conran's Essential Small Spaces and Essential Bathrooms. I like the bathroom guide better, because like it says, bathrooms are sanctuary inside a sanctuary. A place where we are shielded from the outside world's problem. The book is not intended exclusively for professionals I think, but rather for DIYers. Simple thoughts and design considerations can change your bathroom dramatically!! (OK I might be a little exaggerating)
